1. Pop-Gordan Korman- I would choose this book, because I like action genres. I also like the thrill of being able to project the book into a movie in my mind.
2. Fight Club- Chuck Palahniuk- This book has a lot of action in it which I like. I also like the rush of the fight scenes. I like to put myself in the characters shoes which I did in the first couple of pages.
3. No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama Bin Laden- Mark Owen- I love books with war and first person books. This book interests me in the way that I have read other books by this author. These books talk about war and how their mission goes. If this book is anything like the others then I will be very engaged in it.
4. Black List- Brad Thor- This book is very action packed and is very exciting. I would enjoy reading this wonderful book. I have read a lot of action-thrillers and I've basically loved them all. This book seems interesting and I would probably get into this book very easily and I would be enjoying it.
5. The Pacific- Hugh Ambrose- This book is about a boy and his friend enlisting in the was and becoming soldiers during the Pacific War. I believe this book would be a great fit for me because I love war books. This book sounds exciting and fun to read.
6. Obama's America-Dinesha D'Souza- This book is about how Obama has lied to us U.S. citizens about mostly everything and how we made a mistake voting for him. This book seems interesting in the fact that I would want to learn more about him.
7. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel- Jeff Kinney- I have always loved the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. They always make me laugh and I read most of them fairly quickly. They make me want to keep reading them and I haven't read this one yet.
8. A History of the World in 100 Objects- Neil MacGregor- This book is about the history of the world. I would enjoy this book mainly because I love objects and I like to see history of the world. I would not like the big part of the book because it is mainly words. But the picture part is going to be the best.
9. The Five People You Meet in Heaven- Mitch Alborn- This book seems very interesting. I would love to learn more about what heaven would be like. This book would always stay with me even after I read it. Since I am a big believer of Jesus I would love to learn more about what will happen as soon as I go to heaven.
10. The Colonel's Mistake- Dan Mayland- This book seems interesting in the fact that it is about a person in the army who makes a huge mistake and causes a lot of havoc. I feel like I would like this book, because I have always loved books with war and I always am able to get into them easily.

Pitty
If someone killed one of your family members then the killer turned sick, would you still give them pity? Even though this man took part in killing Jews I still think he deserves pity. "For he dropped the letter and groped for my arm. The movement was so pathetically helpless that all of a sudden I felt sorry for him." When a situation is sad, of course, it's human nature to feel sorrow towards those who suffer. Such as this man who is laying in a hospital bed, and having a hard time staying conscience. "I admit that I had some pity for the fellow." Even though this man took part in mass killings of Jews, he's being the bigger person and asking for forgivness; which I think deserves both forgivness and pity. So perhaps the sense of being lifeless and hopeless could serve as payback to all the heartache that he caused the Jews.

Forgiven or not?
Even though he took the time to tell his story to Simon I still don't think that I would be able to just show pity and forgive this man. "It never ceases to remind me of the burning house and the family that jumped from the window." If you could imagine this happening and knowing that you was apart of it, you deserve to go through pain. The man wants to try to make his life clean while he still can. Simon has a right to not feel completely sorry for the SS soldier, because he knows that he could be in the next set of Jews to get killed for no reason. "I cannot die...without coming clean." in this he just wants to make himself feel better. He acts like he cares about the Jews but it could just be an act to try to get forgiveness.

Forgiveness, yes or no?
For over 20 years, a warlord kidnaps children, forcing them to be soldiers or sex slaves. In my opinion I think that I would not be able to forgive that person. An example of this is Kony 2012; he kdinaps kids in Africa and makes them kill their families. Kony 2012 should never be forgiven because of this way of dealing with his issues/problems. If you kill somebody elses family instead of dealing with your own life then you should have never had a life to begin with. I would never be able to live with myself if I killed somebody else.
